About
Overview
Yu-Chi Lyra Kuo is an entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor focused on frontier technologies. Active in digital assets since 2011, she has invested in and advised across fintech, AI, and blockchain ecosystems. More recently, she has turned her attention to asymmetric bets in moonshot science — nascent, high-risk research with profound potential for human health that traditional investors are unlikely to fund — as an alternative model to conventional philanthropy.
Culture & Creativity
Yu-Chi serves on the board of The Shed, New York City's leading arts and cultural institution for a technology-forward future. She is a collector of haute couture and digital art, and is passionate about creative expression—from large-scale community installations at Burning Man to hosting salons that bring together friends across disparate disciplines and fields.
